A few months ago we released an announcement about new technology called Inventor Fusion that will unite Parametric and Direct Model manipulation. That is one of those technologies that we have been sitting on pins and needles excited wanting to talk more about it, a bit like the upcoming new release of inventor!!
This direct minipulation of models, and the reintergration of these changes to the parametric models back in inventor, is a workflow that many of you have asked for.
