License Management

Take control of your current licences and assets.

Ensure an easy overview of all your licences, access to software utilisation rates, and a fair internal billing process

Most organisations have streamlined operations, which has resulted in an increased need for mobility and optimisation of company resources.

Symetri’s knowledge of engineering licence management can help you get a clear view and understanding of your current licence and asset situation, covering compliance risk and actual needs analysis.

The superior functionality of CQFlexMon allows me to produce detailed reports and cost division, and monitor the utilisation rate of the engineering software. Now when I order a report from the system, it is ready for financial administration after just one iteration round.

CQFlexMon helps you, monitor, manage and analyse your software licences

Our solution CQFlexmon can help you with your cost and needs an estimation for future investments, produce statistics on the number of hours a user or department has used a certain type of licence and provide a summary for any period. The integrated debit module allows you to allocate the licence costs fairly, and there is a module to show all borrowed licences. To facilitate the administration of user details, you can retrieve this information directly from the Active Directory database, providing your company uses this option.

Safe At Site Accelerates Digital Transformation with Symetri and Bluebeam Revu

About Safe At Site

Safe At Site is a Sweden‑based company focused on improving safety and efficiency on construction and road‑work sites. Their mission is to reduce serious workplace accidents by providing smart, practical solutions that make hazardous environments safer for workers.

Founded in 2020 by a team who had already worked together for nearly two decades, their goal was to make the construction and civil‑engineering sector safer, simpler, and more efficient through both physical safety products and strong digital capabilities.

The Challenge - The Need for a Strong Digital Foundation

A major early priority for Safe At Site, was building a digital product‑development environment. They believed that getting the digital foundation right would streamline everything that followed. Digital tools, they found, help move decision‑making earlier in the process, enabling better planning and reducing the need to solve problems during production. Their philosophy is that design and planning should identify risks early, rather than treating safety as an afterthought on the construction site.

Anders Vikmyr, Marketing Manager at Safe At Site, highlighted that “Construction projects can be complex, with many stakeholders and frequent changes. Safety is often budgeted as a generic percentage rather than based on real needs, and developers may lack the technical expertise to integrate safety effectively.” With the right digital tools - accurate drawings, scalable models, and reliable quantity calculations - safety can be embedded from the design phase through to execution, becoming a natural part of the project rather than a late‑stage add‑on.

To succeed in this, drawings and models are required that are to scale, consistent and allow for quantity calculations – from design and drawing all the way to work preparation and execution.

The Solutions

Bluebeam Revu - Digital Tools That Deliver Real‑World Accuracy

Digitalisation is where the real transformation happens. Traditionally, many traffic control plans are highly schematic: symbols are placed in a generic way, distances are estimated, and pick lists become little more than approximations.

To change this, Safe At Site worked with Symetri to develop a dedicated Bluebeam Revu profile that presents their products clearly and to scale. The profile is available for download on Safe At Site’s file pages, and Symetri has also created a short instructional video to help users get started quickly.

Vikmyr says: “This approach streamlines planning by allowing measurement, quantity calculations, reviews, and communication to happen in the same environment. It also improves accuracy of picking lists and logistics - four barriers shown in the drawing translate to four barriers on site.” Work preparations become more reliable, and discussions about risks, distances, buffer zones, and protective measures are far easier when the drawings accurately reflect real‑world conditions.

Autodesk Inventor - Digital Engineering That Delivers Real‑World Safety

With Autodesk Inventor, Safe At Site can design, simulate, and refine their products entirely in a digital environment. Different materials can be evaluated, strength tested, and collision scenarios simulated long before anything is built. This approach saves time and money, reduces environmental impact, and gives them confidence that every product performs as intended from day one.

A clear example is ProGuard ZoneStop - an energy‑absorbing traffic buffer designed to replace traditional tyre stacks during roadworks. It has been tested and approved by the Swedish Transport Administration and designed to meet international safety standards for speeds up to 80 km/h, achieving stopping distances well below the required limits. In practice, this means safer worksites and more predictable behaviour in the event of a collision.

The Results

A Smoother Start and a More Professional Outcome

Before partnering with Symetri, Safe At Site tried created their own symbols and instructions, but the results lacked the structure and reliability they needed. With Symetri’s support, the solution became far more robust and thoughtfully designed. Working with experts makes a real difference. Vikmyr said:

“Symetri is quick, approachable, and immediately understands the challenges we’re trying to solve. Today, customers can download the package, get started without a problem, and work from a far more professional foundation. Sharing these tools openly with all Bluebeam users was an easy decision for us. The more people who benefit from them, the safer and more efficient the industry becomes.”

Greater Precision and Confidence for Customers

Safe At Site’s customers now gain much better control over their day‑to‑day work. Manual counting is reduced because quantities and lengths can be extracted directly from the drawings. Scaled objects and accurate placements make work preparations more precise, and clearer documentation speeds up quotation work and improves visual understanding.

Vikmyr identifies: “The impact is noticeable: customers achieve stronger structure and oversight, which in turn builds greater confidence in both our tools and our way of working.”

The Future - Shaping the Next Phase of Digital Safety

Together with Symetri, Safe At Site are now developing a general traffic control plan profile in Bluebeam Revu, designed to include their objects and make it easier for more users to work in a consistent, structured way. At the same time, they are taking the next step in their digitalisation journey by introducing sensors that monitor their products in the field - detecting collisions, low battery levels in warning lights, and other key events. This reduces the need for manual inspections and increases operational reliability.

Plan intelligently in the drawing and manage intelligently in the real world. That’s the next level.

Vikmyr says: “With Inventor for construction and Bluebeam Revu for planning, we help our clients move from schematic sketches to data driven, scalable traffic control plans. The results speak for themselves: better control, faster workflows, and safer site setups.

For us, technology is never the goal. It’s a tool that enables people to work safely and supports a safer, more efficient, and more sustainable construction industry. That’s the purpose behind everything we do. And with the right partner, progress happens faster.”
