It also improves accuracy of picking lists and logistics - four barriers shown in the drawing translate to four barriers on site.” Work preparations become more reliable, and discussions about risks, distances, buffer zones, and protective measures are far easier when the drawings accurately reflect real‑world conditions.

With Autodesk Inventor, Safe At Site can design, simulate, and refine their products entirely in a digital environment. Different materials can be evaluated, strength tested, and collision scenarios simulated long before anything is built. This approach saves time and money, reduces environmental impact, and gives them confidence that every product performs as intended from day one.

A clear example is ProGuard ZoneStop - an energy‑absorbing traffic buffer designed to replace traditional tyre stacks during roadworks. It has been tested and approved by the Swedish Transport Administration and designed to meet international safety standards for speeds up to 80 km/h, achieving stopping distances well below the required limits. In practice, this means safer worksites and more predictable behaviour in the event of a collision.
