Symetri Construction to support Morgan Sindall in the Speakers for Schools Virtual Work Experience (VWEX) programme

We're pleased to announce that Symetri Construction will be taking part in the Speakers for Schools Virtual Work Experience (VWEX) programme with Morgan Sindall.

This will consist of a virtual insight day on 22nd June for 200 students from school years' 10-13, to find out about technology careers in the Construction industry.

Experience is a 'Speakers for Schools' Programme. Launched in 2010 by ITV Political Editor Robert Peston, and supported by the Law Family Charitable Foundation. 'Speakers for Schools' aims to help level the playing field for state school and college students by improving access to leading figures of all industries and backgrounds, to engage and inspire them in their ambitions and by providing free school talks and experiences of the workplace.

Working in teams, students will be completing activities that demonstrate the use of technology in the construction industry, including BIM 360 & Navisworks, whilst helping build project-ready skills such as time management, team work, problem solving, communication & more.
