BIM 360 Webinar Series
Remote collaboration is more important than ever. The right tools, used in the right way, will support business continuity and ensure that teams stay connected and effective
This progressive webinar series looks into the various aspects of design collaboration and project coordination. The first two sessions feature customers sharing their experiences.
BIM 360 Design: Getting Started
This video gives an overview of the key aspects of BIM 360 Design when collaborating with multiple disciplines on an AEC project.
The session covered:
- The concept of design teams and security assigned to the different members
- Saving versus publishing
- The use of packages, and
- The added benefits of the large model viewer in the communication process between teams.

Model Coordination: Connecting Disciplines for Better Project Delivery
In this session we looked at tools, such as Navisworks and BIM 360 Coordinate that can be combined to improve on aggregation of discipline data within a building project.
Learn more about:
- Setup for cloud coordination
- The concept of coordination spaces
- Issue management within Navisworks
- Basic concepts of Assemble

BIM 360 Design: Staying Connected and Effective
How do we make sure we have the latest information from the other design disciplines? This presentation looked at how we consume other users' design data and how we can find out about the changes they've implemented. This session will cover notifications using consumed packages, hyper-modelling using the large model viewer, and comparing design packages.

BIM 360 Design: Optimal Collaboration Workflows
In a world where project stakeholders are distributed over the globe, and disparate teams need to collaborate, we looked at how feedback can be given through an official audit trail and how we can improve digital feedback workflows. This session will help you understand issue management, reporting, and the data connector to extract information.

Common Data Environment: Building a Single Source of Truth
Data for a building project is often stored within different data sources (ERP-CRM-BIM-…). As these tools usually do not talk to one another, we are left with siloed information, and the time consuming task of extracting and gathering this data is error prone.
This session will help you become more familiar with:
- The Large Model Viewer on BIM 360
- Reporting within BIM 360
- The basics of Forge

From Premise to Cloud: Connecting Legacy Data to All Project Stakeholders
This session briefly reviews the information and concepts from the previous webinars (above), and also look at how an existing on premise-system can communicate with our cloud offerings.
This session covered:
- Benefits of BIM 360 Docs, Design, Coordinate, and Build
- Vault functionality
- Synchronising between Vault and BIM 360A
