This initiative aims to provide undergraduate architecture students with a comprehensive understanding of the digital journey and its practical applications in modern architecture.

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

The Future Talent Digital Bootcamp is specifically tailored for Year 2 and 3 undergraduate architecture students, nominated by their respective schools of architecture. Running from 8th July to 19th July, the two-week pilot programme combines online learning modules with in-person sessions at Scott Brownrigg's Covent Garden studio in London. This hybrid approach ensures students can benefit from both flexible virtual learning and immersive hands-on experiences.

The programme will be delivered in collaboration with Symetri, Bnamics, and Creative ITC, showcasing a commitment to fostering the next generation of architects who are proficient in digital design.

PROGRAMME CONTENT

The Future Talent Digital Bootcamp will cover essential aspects of digital architecture, with an emphasis on parametric modelling, Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools, and sustainability. The programme also includes key topics such as:

  • Visualising Data
  • Information Management Tools
  • Project Development

In addition to these technical skills, the programme offers modules that enhance career readiness, including opportunities for hands-on project work and presentations, designed to equip students with practical experience and prepare them for future professional pathways.
