With SOVELIA Inventor you can increase your productivity by streamlining and speeding up the engineering process with enhancements to standard Autodesk Inventor software. 

Built-in Autodesk Inventor interface

Through build-in interface in Autodesk Inventor combined with various automation tools Sovelia Inventor eliminates manual and labor intense work. SOVELIA Inventor is based on a methodology that will help you from modelling the first piece of design until the drawings are produced, including correct parts lists and all necessary information in place.

Functionalities of SOVELIA Inventor

Property/Meta data management

With easy-to-use data management of mandatory fields, drop down menus and linked lists (one property value is affecting another property value). Automated Structural shape size calculation, result is written to selectable file property.

Automatic creation of drawings

From selected parts/assemblies, all parts in an assembly and drawings are created according to predefined settings. In addition, you will get information about the reference assembly and number of units to make (needed in projects) that can be included as part drawing creation.

Automatic creation of secondary file formats

You have the possibility to create following formats from drawings; PDF, DWG, DXF, DWFx. Setup includes file name and folder location setup to specify where generated files are saved and with possibility to use filters to include only a predefined sheet in export.

Localised libraries

The parts library is designed for easy access and use where you find steel profiles, aluminum profiles, plates in different shapes (square, round, knee plates, etc.) and pipes. You can also add the company's own components. In addition, Parts library helps you to name the parts as you draw them, so you don't have to be creative with file names yourself.

Make part view

Make part view creates drawings of a part. The part is selected from an Assembly view and the view can be placed on any drawing sheet. The new view is a standard independent view based on the selected part. Update Item, No command is used to add item number to the view.

Make part drawings

Automatically creates drawings of all parts in an assembly. Parts marked as purchased can be left out. When using the version folders feature, changes to the design are detected and can be checked and tracked. Drawings are generated from a template or copied from a predefined drawing. A set of properties is added to the drawing to check version information, assembly information, and component information.

Publish to other formats

The Publish to other format command allows you to automatically publish different types of files each time you request it or for example every time you leave a drawing. The files can be published to various predetermined destinations. Supported files are PDF, DXF, DWG and DWF.

Make a part independent from another part or break the dependency to Content Center.

  • Center of gravity: Draws a COG symbol in COG.

  • Copy and place: Copies parts or assemblies from a project to an active assembly.

  • Draw plates: Draws out all the layers in the assembly 1:1. 

  • Insert sketched symbols: Adds Sketched Symbols into the drawing.

  • Parameter editor is used to edit parameters on parts or assemblies. It can also copy selected parameter values from one part to other parts.

  • Place in position and position editor: Place and position parts in the coordinate system.
